WHat we do:

Our amazing partners, both local and global, help to prosper the poor and train others to change destinies.

We have found that by focusing on one thing, and doing it well, we find success. Therefore, each leader and volunteer is given one initial mission. Simply to be transformed by the renewal of their mind and to learn to do justice and true religion of caring for the orphaned and widowed (James 1:27). From there, they naturally train others around them to do the same and one turns into two, two into four, and so on into many. 2nd Timothy 2:2, "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses ENTRUST to FAITHFUL people who will train others."

Once we have established solid leaders, our work then takes on several more steps. These regional leaders are trained to prosper and train local communities through various independent projects and to raise up more leaders out of those communities. From there, the impact is doubled, then quadrupled, and so forth. Our dream is to see 10 million disciplers, seeking the Lord with their whole being!

Judah Becker - Founder

Judah Becker, the founder of Change a Destiny, has dedicated his life to doing justice, driven by his deep faith in Jesus Christ. For decades, Judah has worked to uplift impoverished communities, all while sharing the love and hope of Christ. This calling eventually birthed Change A Destiny, in May of 2008.

For Judah, his work is more than just humanitarian aid; it is a direct reflection of Christ’s teachings. He believes that through faith and action, lives can be transformed.

Change a Destiny operates on the principle that by helping the poor become self-sufficient and empowering local leaders, they can bring God’s light into some of the darkest corners of the world. Whether it’s counseling individuals who have hit rock bottom, spreading Jesus's love to children in orphanages, disciple-ling someone in their walk with Jesus, or establishing entrepreneurial programs, Judah sees these efforts as extensions of The Great Commission, to bring freedom and restoration to all the nations.

Guided by Scripture, Judah and his team are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus, showing compassion and love to the “least of these.” His faith fuels his passion to not only rescue children but to give them hope for a better future in Christ.
